Air pollution is a significant concern for anyone who takes their health seriously. Millions of people around the globe suffer from lung diseases that are a direct result of toxic fumes, molds, and other allergens. Most often think that it is the air outside of their homes that they need to worry about. However, the exact opposite is true! More often than not indoor air quality is worse and has a larger effect on your health as most of your time is spent indoors. The World Health Organization says that 92 percent of the global population is breathing polluted air and accounts for approximately 7 million deaths every year! Air pollution is the number one cause of major respiratory problems and can lead to illness and even death. The air pollution outside of your home is not within your control but you can take control of the air pollution within your home. That is why it is important to keep your AC in good working order and keep the filters clean.
